ICG is a NIR fluorescent substance which obtain license for clinical uses from US FDA (Food and Drug administration), along with Methylene Blue. It is used in Ophthalmologic angiography, liver function tests, solid tumor detection in surgical operation and angiography. Because ICG effectively absorbs near infrared wavelength that is about 800nm and its absorption ratio for wavelength of visible light range is low, noises caused by Autofluorescence is low.ICG Dichlorotrazine is labeled on Hydroxyl group and used for fluorescence labeling of small molecule compounds such as hormone and saccharide. Excitation / Emission (nm): 785 / 821 nm.
