ICG is a NIR fluorescent substance which obtain license for clinical uses from US FDA (Food and Drug administration), along with Methylene Blue. It is used in Ophthalmologic angiography, liver function tests, solid tumor detection in surgical operation and angiography. Because ICG effectively absorbs near infrared wavelength that is about 800nm and its absorption ratio for wavelength of visible light range is low, noises caused by Autofluorescence is low.Based on the principle of Copper-free Click chemistry, ICG ADIBO rapidly and accurately bonds to labeling targets (antibodies etc.) in which Azide is applied. By using high specific and sensitive Bioorthogonal reagents, Click chemistry is the fastest and most accurate way among biomolecules bonding methods. In addition, it can be used in cells or tissues researches that are sensitive to toxic since ICG ADIBO doesn’t require toxic copper catalyst. Excitation / Emission (nm): 785 / 821 nm. Extinction coefficient: 220,000 cm-1M-1.
