Flamma®774 is a bright and stable near-infrared fluorescent dye that emits the longest range of fluorescence among Flamma®Fluors products. It features high water solubility and low toxicity and has a similar optical spectrum to Alexa Fluor®790, IRDye®800CW. Near-infrared fluorescent dye is mainly used for In-Vivo Imaging in drug delivery and tumor research, as it is highly permeable to biological tissue. Flamma®774 Azide is labeled on Aldehyde or Ketone, and it is used for fluorescence labeling of small molecule compounds such as hormone and saccharide. To label Flamma®774 Azide on polysaccharide or glycoprotein, oxidation process that oxidizes saccharide to Aldehyde is required. In general, it utilizes Sodium periodate-mediate oxidation method of vicinal diol.Excitation / Emission (nm): 774 / 806 nm. Spectrally similar dyes: Alexa Fluor®790, IRDye®800CW.
