Flamma®648 is a fluorescent dye that emits red fluorescence. Its most efficient excitation is at 648nm laser, and it has a maximum emission value at 672nm. It is bright and has excellent light stability, and it also has a similar optical spectrum to Alexa Fluor®647 and CY5. Flamma®648 dye is used in various ways such as intracellular imaging and target detection by combining with a variety of substances such as antibodies, proteins etc. Flamma®648 Sulfo-NHS ester has a higher water solubility than Flamma®648 NHS ester, and it can be directly added to reacting solution without dissolving process in organic solvents such as DMSO or DMF. It is effective for labeling since it rapidly and high-specifically reacts to Protein containing amine (-NH2) in aqueous solution, Antibody and Primary amine (-NH2) of Amine-modified Oligonucleotide. Excitation / Emission (nm): 648 / 663 nm. Spectrally similar dyes: Alexa Fluor®647, Cy®5, DyLight®649, ATTO647N. Extinction coefficient: 250,000 cm-1M-1. CF280: 0.03.
