Flamma®496 is a fluorescent dye induced from Fluorescein structure and has a maximum value of Ex/Em at 496nm/516nm. Even though it is optically similar to FAM, it has features that are excellent light stability and better brightness compared to FAM. Flamma®496 Sulfo-NHS ester has a higher water solubility than Flamma®496 NHS ester, and it can be directly added to reacting solution without dissolving process in organic solvents such as DMSO or DMF. It is effective for labeling since it rapidly and high-specifically reacts to Protein containing amine (-NH2) in aqueous solution, Antibody and Primary amine (-NH2) of Amine-modified Oligonucleotide. Excitation / Emission (nm): 496 / 516 nm. Extinction coefficient: 70,000 cm-1M-1. CF280: 0.12.
